Event Opportunities: This is a free event open to the public, full of various hands-on activities such as archery, BB gun shooting, fish identification, and more. North Dakota Waterfowl Brigade will have a table reserved at this event for our graduates to staff and spread the word about camp. We’re needing a Coordinating Cadet for this event (please see the note below) as well as a hands-on activity or two for the participants.
A.5 Assist with a Conservation Organization’s Event — Points awarded for assisting with the instruction of the hands-on activity at the event.
Cadets should wear their camp shirt to this event. You are welcome to bring your poster as well, but please note that you will only receive points for A.5.
A.6 Coordinate Cadets at an Event — You must be present for the entire event and communicate with the Texas Brigades office prior to and after the event. Only ONE person per event may claim this activity, and this role must be confirmed by Elizabeth Palarski prior to receiving any credit.
Coordinating Cadet responsibilities: coordinate with Elizabeth prior to the event to obtain event materials, assist with set up of our table, serve as the point of contact for Cadet questions on the day of the event, assist with take down of the event, and coordinate with Elizabeth to hand off the materials once the event is over.
