Family Fishing Day
Event Details: With Navasota ISD on Fall Break, it’s the perfect time to spend the morning outdoors fishing with the family. They will have bait and hot dogs available while supplies last. Texas Brigades will have a tent/table available to display posters and chat with families.

TOWA 10th Annual Fall Stampede
Event Details: The Texas Outdoor Writers Association (TOWA) Annual Stampede was created to satisfy our supporting members. It’s an opportunity to showcase products and ideas to members and the public alike. Unlike the formal conference, the Stampede is an epic Texas-style party and sporting celebration! Anyone is welcome to attend, and cadets will have the opportunity to earn BOA points if wanted.

2026 Nurture Nature Festival
Event Details: The City of Baytown hosts the annual Nurture Nature Festival each October at the Baytown Nature Center. This free event is designed to introduce visitors to the wildlife and unique wetland landscapes of Baytown while cultivating a love of the great outdoors and raising awareness of the incredible fall migratory bird season along the Texas coast. Visitors can discover the reptiles, birds, fish, and native plants that call Baytown home through live animal encounters, fishing, archery, hands-on activities, educational exhibits, and more. Whether you're an avid outdoor enthusiast or simply curious about the natural world, Nurture Nature Festival offers something for every age and interest. A coordinating cadet has arranged a booth at the event for cadets to come and display their posters.

Texas Section Society for Range Management (TSSRM) Annual Meeting
Event Details: This event brings together TSSRM members, range professionals, and University students & staff to compete, learn, and promote healthy rangelands for ranching and wildlife. There are BOA opportunities at the Texas Brigades booth, as well as learning and involvement opportunities during the event for anyone who would like to attend.

Event Details: Buck Fever Event is a two-day event held on Wednesday (5:30-9:00 pm) & Thursday (5:30-10:00 pm) evening each October. The Event is family-friendly and offers the Buck Fever Horns Contest & Exhibit, Vendors, Games & Raffles, Food Trucks, Shopping, and Games & Activities for all to enjoy!

Event Details: This is a conference for Science teachers in North Dakota. NDWTFL will have a table in the exhibit space during the conference. NDWTFL would love for cadets to be at this event to help promote the camp to teachers and encourage them to share the camp info with their students.

Event Opportunities: The event celebrates the outdoors and outdoor activities. There are many tables and stations for families to visit and participate in hands-on activities like a duck wing identification maze, fishing, boating/kayaking, BB gun shooting, and duck calling. There will be a table for the North Dakota Waterfowl Brigade. The cadets can talk about camp, recruit cadets, and engage people in a hands-on wetland demonstration.

Event Details: Texas AgriLife Extension is inviting cadets to come volunteer at the Comal County Fair. Volunteers will help assist extension agents with the Texas A&M AgriLife Kid Zone, where activities may include:
Helping children plant sunflowers
Talking with visitors
Assisting children through our interactive farmer’s market
Helping with our chick and duck exhibit
Engaging with families and helping maintain activity areas
This is a fun opportunity to help connect kids with agriculture and network with extension agents.

Event Opportunities: Texas Brigades youth leaders Ethan and Hadley Hemphill invite you to Hemphill Ranch in Coleman, TX, where they will show range and grassland management practices utilized on their ranch. Montgomery Aquatics Presentation
Event Opportunities: This event would be a single presentation to the MARC swim team about Texas Brigades and the opportunities available through the program. Join the Coordinating Cadet to recruit more people for camp this summer!
A.1 Single presentation to a captive audience - Restrictions: If you set up your poster or trifold while making/providing a presentation, you will NOT receive credit for a manned display, only the educational presentation.

The Grimes County 4-H Roundup
Event Opportunities: Grimes County 4-H is welcoming cadets to host a booth at their Roundup event on Saturday, March 7th. Cadets are welcome to set up their poster and help out at the booth. In addition to the booth, cadets will have the opportunity to give a short presentation during the award ceremony.
A.3 Manned Poster Display — Restrictions: points awarded per day, minimum of one hour.
