Event Details: Texas AgriLife Extension is inviting cadets to come volunteer at the Comal County Fair. Volunteers will help assist extension agents with the Texas A&M AgriLife Kid Zone, where activities may include:
Helping children plant sunflowers
Talking with visitors
Assisting children through our interactive farmer’s market
Helping with our chick and duck exhibit
Engaging with families and helping maintain activity areas
This is a fun opportunity to help connect kids with agriculture and network with extension agents.
*If interested, you must submit your availability by September 17th!
BOA Opportunities:
A.5 Assist with a natural resource, wildlife, or conservation organization’s event. — Restrictions: Points awarded per day of assistance.
*Note- Only volunteers will be given free admission! If parents attend the fair, they will need to purchase a ticket

September 23: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (school tours) and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
September 24: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (school tours) and 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
September 25: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
September 26: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
September 27: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
