Texas Brigades Graduates Sweep 2018 Texas 4-H Record Book Competition

COLLEGE STATION, TX – Results of the 2018 Texas 4-H Record Book competition were released recently, with many of the top prizes earned by Texas Brigades graduates. Seventeen former cadets placed within the Top Ten in twelve different judged categories.

Texas Brigades would like to recognize the following former Cadets for earning top awards amongst their peers across the state:

Agricultural Sciences

  • Annie Braack, 2nd place


  • Ethan Ayala, 9th place

Citizenship & Civic Education

  • Knolan Bower, 6th place

Clothing & Textiles

  • Sydney Faust, 8th place

Consumer Education

  • Clayton Boeker, 2nd place


  • Peter Cole, 3rd place


  • Laramie Crockett, 8th place

Natural Resources

  • Connor Himly, 3rd place
  • Hunter Hinz, 6th place

Personal Development

  • Miles Mathis, 5th place
  • Wyatt Daughtry, 8th place

Shooting Sports

  • Jay-P John, 1st place
  • Hannah Ventura, 3rd place

Veterinary Science

  • Caleb Olfers, 6th place

Wildlife & Fisheries

  • Ray Edwards, 1st place
  • Brentton Jenkins, 3rd place
  • Emily Kalinec, 6th place
