DescriptionThe Confluence of Young Conservation Leaders (CYCL) conference is a biennial, multi-state youth conservation event. Texas Brigades hosted the last session in Austin, TX in November of 2019.

The 2022 event is hosted in Poynette, Wisconsin at the MacKenzie Environmental Center. Join us as we foster discussions on a national scale regarding water resources & challenges, private/public land, developing leadership skills, establishing conservation and leadership programs, and much more! Activities include visits to/with the Aldo Leopoldo Foundation, International Crane Foundation, Devil’s Lake State Park, Monarch CCAA and U of I Chicago, and applied ecological restoration presentations.

Graduates of Texas Brigades programs, ages 18-24, and past CYCL attendees from Texas are welcomed to register with Texas Brigades to attend the event. Other organizations may register representatives from their own organizations.

Texas Brigades Involvement: Texas Brigades is a partner organization and has been involved with planning this event. Texas Brigades plans to assist attendees with a travel stipend, as we know flights and/or driving may be a hinderance. If you are interested in attending, please complete the inquiry form here: .

Join Texas Brigades and other states as we dive into and work to resolve natural resources challenges nation-wide.
