Event for: Youth

Hosted by: Harris County Wildlife Group of the National Wild Turkey Federation

Event Description: Harris County Wildlife Group of the National Wild Turkey Federation, will host it’s 7th outdoor education event for youth and guardians during the week of spring break. There be lots of activities for everyone including camping, hiking, target practice, fishing, sightseeing. We will also have teaching segments on wild turkeys, habitat management, and predator control done by our Texas Parks & Wildlife biologist, and Texas Trappers and Fur Hunters Association. Wild game dinners, a fish fry, snacks, and drinks will be will be provided during the duration of the event.

Texas Brigades Involvement: Derek York of Coastal Brigade will be attending. This is less of a BOA opportunity and more of a learning experience for cadets who are interested in registering and attending.
