Texas Brigades Experience: DOVE 101

Saturday, September 8, 2018 – Graham, TX

Our next experience, “DOVE 101” will be hosted in conjunction with the Texas Dove Hunters Association (TDHA) and the Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP).

Participants (ages 9-17) will rotate through dove-related curriculum stations, including hands-on anatomy demonstrations such as “Getting to Know Your Dove” and “Field Dressing Techniques.” We will also cover firearm and field safety lessons, bird identification methods, hunting ethics, dove habitat, and more! The day will end with an evening dove hunt* as well as a cookout! Space is limited.

*You must bring your hunting license and proof of your hunter safety certification to participate in the evening dove hunt.

Texas Brigades Presents: Kids Wildlife Conservation Day

Saturday, October 20, 2018 – Holy House Academy – Houston, TX

Join us for a day of conservation education and partnership! This two-part Experience will be hosted in conjunction with the Texas Youth Hunting Program (TYHP) and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD). The Hunter Education course in the morning will be followed by a Wildlife Organization Expo in the afternoon.

Texas Brigades works with program committees and partners to provide a day experience relating to conservation topics, such as water conservation, land stewardship, fishing tactics, and more.
