Picture This! A Texas Brigades Experience

Hosted at the YMCA Roberts Ranch (Comfort, TX)

February 22nd, 2020 • 12:30 – Sunset

Ages 9 – 17. For those 12 and under, we ask that a parent or older sibling attend the event as well.

$25 registration fee per family/group (please pay online prior to the event)

This will be a one-day immersion into nature through photography! Professional photographers Dave & Joseph Richards, of Richards Outdoor Photography, will be instructing youth on photography basics, give an introduction to nature photography, and show how to stage a scene for success! The day will end with a guided “Golden Hour” photo session on the beautiful YMCA Roberts Ranch. Potential photo opportunities include: whitetail deer, aoudad sheep, sika deer, various birds, hill country landscapes, creeks, historic ranch infrastructure, and much more!

Texas Brigades works with program committees and partners to provide a day experience relating to conservation topics, such as water conservation, land stewardship, fishing tactics, and more. These experiences are generally localized to reach a variety of youth across the state. Scheduled events will be listed above.
