Cadets learn all about the quail from the inside out starting with the dissection of a quail.

Cadets learn the many uses of the GPS unit and how to use it properly.

Camp Pictures DOG TRAINING

Cadets are given a demonstration of professional dog training.

Camp Pictures SNAKE BREAKING

Cadets are given a demonstration of snake breaking, which is an aspect of dog training.

Camp Pictures TAXIDERMY

Cadets have the opportunity to make a taxidermy project of a "stuffed" quail.

Camp Pictures TELEMETRY

Cadets track radio collared quail using radio telemetry technology.

Camp Pictures OMELET RODEO

A tradition at South Texas Bobwhite Brigade is the omelet rodeo. Each cadet makes his or her own special omelet.

Camp Pictures SWEEP NETS

This activity allows cadets to see the insects that are vital to brood survival.

Camp Pictures INSTRUCTORS

The volunteers that help at camp are wonderful individuals from many walks of life.

Camp Pictures NATURE WALK

Cadets go on a nature walk one early morning and write their observations in the journal they are given at the beginning of camp.

Cadets make many projects to take home after camp.
